2012 - Proof that the fringe Wine Islands weather can make a high quality red. This is a silky, medium bodied pinot noir, with dark cherry and wild raspberry, finely stencilled with lightly grippy tannins. Cloves and cinnamon season the palate, while a gentle and lifted acidity carries it. Serious stuff. 89 pts, Treve Ring for Gismondi on Wine
